POLICE SCOTLAND CLAIM ALMOST 100% CLEAR UP RATE FOR HOMICIDE

  • Did you know that in Scotland that Police statistics state that they have about a 100% clear up rate for homicide and yet they have a significantly lower rate of clear up serious assault. They even achieved 106% one year.
  • So, when the victim survives and can possibly identify the culprit we catch fewer criminals?
  • Could it be that when people die, they are not around to say someone else caused it and therefore can be written off as just suspicious or even worse, as self inflicted?
  • Not only do Police statistics improve with good policing, they also improve through incompetence, negligence and corrupt policing. The latter three can result in crimes not being acknowledged.
